Blackbird Two Discovery
Summary
Blackbird Two resulted from the drill testing of a gravity anomaly extending eastwards from the Blackbird One occurrence at the AT2 airborne anomaly site. Two holes were completed along local grid line 4000 East. The two holes scissored one another to confirm dip orientation. Three parallel bands of chromite mineralization were found to extend beneath the gravity anomaly, dipping approximately 65 degrees to the northwest within a Periodotite Sill (Ring of Fire) striking northeast.
Further drilling of this anomaly will be carried out south-easterly towards the Blackbird One occurrence along the gravity anomaly trend.
